I love working with dogs of all ages and breeds using treats and toys to motivate them to learn. Helping owners teach their best friend to make the right decisions that create an impressive level of team work and trust.I have been around dogs for as long as I can remember, spending most of my childhood at a riding stables and in the countryside. Two years ago I made a life long dream come true and began working with dogs full time.

My proudest moment as a professional dog trainer was watching the puppies that I had trained from 8weeks old become qualified Assistance Dogs and going on to transform lives.

As a dog owner, my greatest moment was when my rescue Staffie cross won a national competition for a talented pet to star in a TV advert and both of my rescue dogs went on to do modelling jobs, and spread a positive message about Bull Breeds.

I have a particular passion for trick training, scent work and Dog Agility, I love the bond that learning together builds with your best friend.

I have always loved dogs, but working full time in London meant that it wasn’t fair to get one until my husband and I suddenly inherited Dougal, a west highland Terrier who was 5 at the time. I loved learning about Dougal and the joys of having a terrier who turned out to be a bit deaf in the recall department and got himself stuck a couple of times!

I went on to do an Advanced Dog Behaviour diploma and holiday boarding so I could get more experince of different breeds. It was also a good chance to work on any issues the owner was having.

The best part of my job is watching dogs body language and interpreting what it is telling us humans and then being able to explain this to my clients. This is particularly interesting when we have groups of dogs in the classes, watching how they interact together and giving them some distance when they look a little anxious around a particular dog or group.

My proudest achievement was raising a puppy for Canine Partners such a fantastic experience and I learned so much from watching this puppy develop and grow into a great support dog. It was challenging through the Adolescent stage, especially as it the start of COVID, so the training wasn't quite as planned, but she then went off to help support a family.

I have met some amazing people and dogs over the years and being able to offer clients classes at a fantastic secure location to help continue that bond is the icing on the cake.
