Relabelling Reactivity – In-Person Training Day

Join us for a transformational, hands-on training day designed to help you and your dog move beyond reactivity with confidence, clarity, and practical skills you can apply immediately.

This immersive workshop is limited to six to eight handlers to ensure every team receives tailored support. Each dog’s individual challenges will be approached as a mini one-to-one consultation, allowing you to work directly on the issues most relevant to your dog.

Throughout the day, I will use my own stooge dogs to create carefully managed setups and controlled scenarios so your dog can learn, succeed, and rehearse new emotional responses in a safe, structured environment. These setups are always adapted to the dog in front of us, ensuring we never overwhelm or push too far, too fast.

Please be sure to follow all venue guidelines regarding when and how dogs may be brought out of vehicles or contained. This helps maintain a calm working atmosphere and supports every dog’s success.

There will be dedicated time for questions and answers, alongside ongoing coaching and feedback as we work through each case.

About Your Instructor – Kamal Fernandez

Kamal Fernandez is a world-renowned dog trainer and internationally respected expert in canine reactivity. Known for his work on Channel 4’s The Bad Dog Academy, Kamal has spent over three decades helping dogs and their guardians overcome reactivity, rebuild confidence, and rediscover joy in the world around them. His approach opens doors—literally and metaphorically—for dogs who struggle, giving them the skills, support, and emotional safety they need to thrive.

Timings

The day will begin at 10:00 AM and we aim to finish at 4:00 PM, with short breaks throughout.

Whether you’re dealing with dog–dog reactivity, people reactivity, over-arousal, fear-based responses, or general social awkwardness, this workshop will give you the tools and understanding to help your dog flourish—not just cope.
